Russia leading the way in Persian Leopard conservation

The Persian Leopard is functionally extinct in the wild in Russia, with only a few individuals left. WWF will be reintroducing Persian Leopards into the wild, together with prey species deer populations. The project is one of the first which is predominantly sponsored by Russian businesses.
