Celestial Pearl Danio facing extinction

This new aquarium-sized fish species - discovered August last year as reported here - may be facing extinction through overfishing. Photos.

Full article at NatGeo

Within a few months of its discovery, one Thai company had exported 15,000 individual celestial pearl danios (Celstichthys margaritatus) and exportation since then is likely around the 150,000 mark.
